ICAR-National Research Centre on Seed Spices (NRCSS) invited candidates for Walk-in Interview of various Research Associate posts at their Ajmer office.  Eligible candidates can walk-in to the venue mentioned for the interview on 2 December to 4 December 2014.

Eligibility criteria
Educational Qualification

• Senior Research Fellow (CRP- Agro Biodiversity- Seed Spices): M. Sc. (Ag.) in Plant Breeding and Genetics
• Senior Research Fellow (Micronutrient Project): M. Sc.(Ag.) in Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry or M.Sc. Chemistry/ Biochemistry/ Biosciences
• Research Associate (Under various disciplines at Institute): Ph.D. in Plant Biotechnology/Bioinformatics or Master Degree in Biotechnology/ Bioinformatics from recognized university with two years experience as SRF in recognized Institute.
• Senior Research Fellow (Under various disciplines at Institute):

1. Horticulture (one post): Master Degree in Horticulture from a recognized university
2. Plant Breeding & Genetics/ Pl. breeding / Biotechnology (two post): Master Degree in Plant Breeding & Genetics/Plant Breeding/ Biotechnology from recognized university
3. Plant Pathology/ Microbiology (one post) : Master Degree in Plant Pathology/ Microbiology from a recognized university
4. Ag. Extension/ Ag. Economics (one post) : Master Degree in Ag. Extension/ Ag. Economics from a recognized university
5. Agronomy (one post) : Master Degree in Agronomy from a recognized university
6. Post Harvest Management/ Food Technology (one post): Master Degree in Post Harvest Management/ Food Technology from a recognized university

• Senior Research Fellow (Network Project on Organic Horticulture): Master degree with first division in any branch of Agriculture or related allied Science.
• Senior Research Fellow (Phytochemicals / High Value Compounds Project): Master degree in Biochemistry/Chemistry/ Agriculture Chemicals/ Biotechnology

Age Limit

• Senior Research Fellow (CRP- Agro Biodiversity- Seed Spices): 35 years for men & 40 years for women

• Senior Research Fellow (Micronutrient Project): 35 years for men & 40 years for women
• Research Associate (Under various disciplines at Institute): 40 years for men & 45 for women
• Senior Research Fellow (Under various disciplines at Institute): 35 years for men & 40 years for women
• Senior Research Fellow (Network Project on Organic Horticulture): 35 years for men & 40 years for women

Pay Scale

• Senior Research Fellow (CRP- Agro Biodiversity- Seed Spices): Rs. 16000/-per month+ HRA (as per rules) for 1^st year & 2^nd year; Rs. 18000/- per month + HRA (as per rules) for 3^rd year
• Senior Research Fellow (Micronutrient Project): Rs. 16000/-per month+ HRA (as per rules) for 1^st year & 2^nd year; Rs. 18000/- per month + HRA (as per rules) for 3^rd year
• Research Associate (Under various disciplines at Institute): Rs. 23000/- per Month + HRA (as per rules) for Master Degree holders; OR Rs. 24000/- per Month + HRA (as per rules) for Doctoral Degree holders
• Senior Research Fellow (Under various disciplines at Institute): Rs. 16000/-per month+ HRA (as per rules) for 1^st year & 2^nd year; Rs. 18000/- per month + HRA (as per rules) for 3^rd year
• Senior Research Fellow (Network Project on Organic Horticulture): Rs. 16000/-per month+ HRA (as per rules) for 1^st year & 2^nd year; Rs. 18000/- per month + HRA (as per rules) for 3^rd year
