Name of the Post: Safety Officer (Class-II) - 01 Post

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification:i) Recognized degree in any branch of engineering of technology with practical experience of working in a major Port/Government Department / Semi. Government/ Public Sector Undertakings/ Autonomous Body in a Supervisory capacity for a period of two years: 

(OR)

Recognised degree in physics or chemistry with practical experience of working in a major Port/Government Department/ Semi.Government Department/Public Sector Undertakings/ Autonomous Body in a Supervisory capacity for a period of five years: 

(OR)

Recognised diploma in any branch of engineering or technology with practical experience of working in a major Port/Government Department/ Semi.Government Department/Public Sector

Undertakings/Autonomous Body in a Supervisory capacity for a period of five years:

ii) Degree or diploma in industrial safety recognised by the Central Government in this behalf and

iii) Adequate knowledge in Tamil.

(OR)

(i) Recognised degree or diploma in engineering or technology with experience of not less than five years in a major Port/Government Department/ Semi.Government Department/Public Sector Undertakings/Autonomous Body which deals with the administration

of the Indian Dock Labourers Act, 1934 and or the Dock Workers (Safety, Health and Welfare) Act. 1986;

ii) Recognised degree or diploma in engineering or technology with experience of five years, fulltime, or training, education, consultancy or research in the field of accident prevention in a major Port/Government Department/ Semi.Government Department/Public Sector Undertakings/Autonomous Body;

iii) Adequate knowledge in Tamil.

Age Limit: 45 Years

Selection Procedure:

The selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of the interview/exam conducted by the organization.
