Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR ) has invited application for recruitment to the post of Scientific Officer and Project Scientific Assistant at TCIS, Hyderabad. Pay Scale

• Scientific Officer: B: PB-3, Rs.15600-39100 + Grade Pay Rs. 5400/- TME : Rs. 56,394/
• Project Scientific Officer: Consolidated Pay : Rs. 30,500/- p.m. (including HRA of Rs. 4050)

Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualification:
  • Scientific Officer: BE/BTech in CS/ Electronics and Communication/ Electrical with min. 60% marks OR PG in CS/ Physics/ Mathematics with min. 60% marks. 1-2 years of relevant experience. Knowledge of Linux system administration, proficient in networking concepts, strong interpersonal skill and English language communication skill.  Desirables: Working knowledge of parallel programming, MPI, Open threads, Pthreads, etc.
  • Project Scientific Assistant: SSC/HSC and Diploma in Electronics / Communicat
  • ions / Electrical / Computer Science with minimum 60% marks (OR) B.Sc. with Physics / Mathematics / Computer Science with minimum 60% marks. Knowledge of computers and applications with 0-2 years of relevant experience. Working knowledge of Windows/Linux/ Mac/TCP/IP networking technologies. Desirables: Microsoft/redhat certification/CCNA certification and 1 year work experience.
• Age Limit: Below 28 years as on July 1, 2014 for both the posts.
