Odisha Staff Selection Commission
(OSSC), Bhubaneswar has issued a notification for the recruitment of
Junior Motor Vehicle Inspector vacancies of the Odisha Sub-Ordinate
Transport Engineering Service. The eligible candidates may apply online from
22-11-2014 to 22-12-2014 by 11:59 PM & send their printout copies
of applications on or before 29-12-2014.

Age Limit: Candidates age limit should be 18 – 32 years as on 01-01-2012. Age relaxation will be applicable as per rules.
Educational Qualification:
Candidates should possess High School certificate examination or
equivalent examination from a recognized institution, Diploma course in
Automobile engineering or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering awarded by
the State Council of Technical Education, valid driving license to drive
Motor Cycle, Heavy Goods vehicles & heavy passenger motor vehicle
& transport vehicle, must have passed Middle School Examination or
equivalent examination with Odia as a medium of examination.
Selection Process: Selection will be made on the basis of viva voce, written test.
Application Fee:
E-Payment: Candidates can pay Rs.100/- for SEBC &
UR candidates through the website www.odishatreasury.gov.in through the
link available in the OSSC portal. SC/ ST/ PWD candidates are exempted
from fee.
Online Mode: Candidates
can pay Rs.100/- for SEBC & UR candidates through online mode by
using Net Banking or Debit Card. On successful payment, an e-Challan
will be generated from the Treasury portal. SC/ ST/ PWD candidates are
exempted from fee.
Offline Mode:
Candidates can pay Rs.100/- for SEBC & UR candidates through offline
mode through Challan drawn under the “Head of
Account-0051-PSC-104-UPSC/SSC-Examination Fees-0047-Fees collected for
conucting examinations-02041-Examination Fees”. SC/ ST/ PWD candidates
are exempted from fee.
Conventional Mode:
Candidates can pay Rs.100/- for SEBC & UR candidates through the
Conventional mode into the Treasury under the “Head of
Account-0051-PSC-104-UPSC/SSC-Examination Fees-0047-Fees collected for
conducting examinations-02041-Examination Fees”. SC/ ST/ PWD candidates
are exempted from fee.
How to Apply: Eligible
candidates may apply online through the website www.odishassc.in from
22-11-2014 to 22-12-2014 by 11:59 PM & send their printout copies of
applications along with attested copies of original treasury challan,
caste certificate, SEBC certificate, qualification certificates/ mark
sheets, driving licence, experience certificates pass in odia language
certificate, discharge certificate, identity cards, no objection
certificate on or before 29-12-2014 by 5:00 PM to the Secretary Odisha
Staff Selection Commission, Barrack No-1, Unit-V, Bhubaneswar – 751054.
