NCAOR Notified Recruitment for 05 Scientist C, Section Officer & Various Posts 2014 - Walk-in Interview

National Centre for Antarctic & Ocean Research (NCAOR), Goa has issued a notification for the recruitment of Scientist C, Section Officer, Personal Assistant/ Steno Grade-I, Research Associate vacancies under “Scientific Deep Drilling programme in Koyna region” on temporary basis at concerned centres. Eligible candidates may attend for interview on 01-12-2014 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. 

NCAOR Vacancy Details: Total No.of Posts: 05 Name of the Posts:
1. Scientist C: 01 Post
2. Section Officer: 02 Posts
3. Personal Assistant/ Steno Grade-I: 02 Posts
4. Research Associate: 01 Post

Age Limit: Candidates age limit should be 40 years for Sr.No:1 Post, 35 years for Sr.No:2,3,4 Posts. Age relaxation will be applicable as per rules.

Educational Qualification: 

For Scientist C: First Class M.Sc. in Electronics/instrumentation with at least three years experience in the
relevant field.

For Section Process: 

(i)A Master’s Degree from a recognized University. 

(ii) Operational computer knowledge. 

(iii) 3years experience preferably in Govt./ PSU/Autonomous Bodies/ in the area of administration, purchase & stores, finance & accounts, etc.

For Personal Assistant/ Steno Grade-I: 

(i) Graduation or equivalent from a recognized university. 

(ii) Skill Test Norms Dictation: 10 mts@ 120 w.p.m. Transcription: 65 mts. (Eng.) 75 mts. (Hindi) (on manual typewriter) or 50 mts. (Eng.) 65 mts. (Hindi) on computer. 

For Research Associate: 

(i) Master’s degree in Geophysics or Geology or Applied Geology or Seismology or Maths or
Physics or Computers with first class from a recognized University or equivalent. 

(ii) Doctorate degree in the relevant subject or area of specialization (Or) 3 years experience in Research and Development or in academic institutions supported by publications. 

(iii) Three years experience in Secretarial / Office Management work. 

Selection Process: Selection will be made on the basis of interview.
