National Institute of Technology, Meghalaya Notified Recruitment for 08 Various Posts 2014

National Institute of Technology (NIT) Meghalaya, Shillong invited applications from eligible candidates, who fulfill the requisite criteria for filling up the following below mentioned ‘Non- Faculty’ positions on permanent basis. The candidates eligible for the post may apply on or before 01 December 2014.

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Qualification must be from the recognized Board or University or Institution with relevant work experience in the concerned field.

• For Post 1  :Possess Post- Graduate Degree in the Library Science
• For Post 2 & 3: Possess 03 (three) years Diploma in the appropriate field.
• For Post 4: Possess Graduation Degree with knowledge of Office Automation Software.
• For Post 5: Possess Twelfth (12th Standard) Pass or equivalent and Diploma or Certificate Course in Library Science.
• For Post 6: Possess Matric (10th Pass) or its equivalent and ITI Certificate in the relevant trade of 01 or 02 years duration.

Age Limit

• For Post 1 & 2  :  30 Years.
• For rest all other Posts:  27 Years.

Pay Scale

• For Post 1 & 2  : 

Pay Band (PB – 2) and Pay Scale of Rs. 9,300/- to Rs. 34,800/- plus Grade Pay of Rs. 4,200/- Per Month.

• For Post 3 & 4  :

Pay Band (PB – 1) and Pay Scale of Rs. 5,200/- to Rs. 20,200/- plus Grade Pay of Rs. 2,000/- Per Month.

• For Post 5 & 4  : 

Pay Band (PB – 1) with Grade Pay of Rs. 1,800/- Per Month.

Application Fee 
Application Fee (Non- refundable) is of Rs. 200/- (Two Hundred only) and (Rs. 100/- only for SC/ ST/ PWD candidates) in the form of Demand Draft drawn on any Nationalized Bank in favor of “National Institute of Technology Meghalaya”, payable at Shillong.

• Interested Candidates may apply in the prescribed format along with the photo copies of the relevant certificates/ testimonials in support of date of birth, qualifications, experience, category (SC/ ST/ PWD), etc. with Demand Draft and a recent Passport size Photograph which should be affix on the application form may be forwarded to the “Registrar (I/C), National Institute of Technology Meghalaya, Bijni Complex, Laitumkhrah, Shillong – 793 003” on or before 01 December 2014.
