Indian Council of Medical Research Notified Recruitment for 12 Various Posts 2014

Indian Council of Medical Research, Regional Medical Research Centre, NE region invited applications for recruitment to temporary posts of Scientist, Technical Assistant, Assistant, Technical at Model Rural Health Research Units in the state of Assam and Tripura. Eligibility Criteria

1. Scientist D (Medical): PG degree (MD/MS) with 5 year R&D/teaching experience or PG diploma in medical field with 6 year R&D/teaching experience.
2. Scientist c (Non-Medical): first class Master’s degree in Public health/microbiology/biochemistry/biotechnology/bioinformatics/life sciences from a recognized university with 4 year R&D/teaching experience.
3. Technical Assistant (Statistician): three years’ graduate degree in mathematics/statistics with 5 years’ experience.
4. Technical Assistant (Research): three years’ graduate degree in biological sciences/ biotechnology/ biochemistry/ microbiology nutrition from a recognized university with one year experience in health related fields. Candidate should also have one year diploma in DMLT from a recognized university/college/institute.
5. Assistant (Multipurpose): 3 years’ Bachelors degree from a recognized university and diploma in computers/office procedures.
6. Technical C (Laboratory Technician): 10+2 with science subjects  with one year diploma in DMLT from a recognized university/college/institute.

Age limit

1. Scientist D (Medical): Not more than 45 years
2. Scientist c (Non-Medical): Not more than 40 years
3. Technical Assistant (Statistician): Not more than 35 years
4. Technical Assistant (Research): Not more than 30 years
5. Assistant (Multipurpose): Not more than 30 years
6. Technical C (Laboratory Technician): Not more than 30 years

Pay Scale

1. Scientist D (Medical): Rs 60000/- Per Month
2. Scientist c (Non-Medical): Rs 55000/- Per Month.
3. Technical Assistant (Statistician): Rs 31000/- Per Month
4. Technical Assistant (Research): Rs 25000/- Per Month.
5. Assistant (Multipurpose): Rs 25000/- Per Month.
6. Technical C (Laboratory Technician): Rs 21000/- Per Month.

Selection Process
Candidates will be called for personal interview/written test which they will be intimated about by post.
