IIT Bombay Notified Recruitment for 49 Various Posts 2014

Indian Institute of Technology has invited application for recruitment to various posts of Project Software Engineer (PSE1), Sr. Project Software Engineer (SPSE), Project Technical Assistant (PTA) and Junior Software Engineer (JSE). The candidates eligible for the post can apply through prescribed format before 15 December 2014.

• Sr. Project Software Engineer (SPSE): Rs.42000 - 60000/- p.m. (consolidated)

Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualification

1. Project Technical Assistant (PTA): Candidate must be a Graduate in Science/Computer Applications or any graduate having Diploma in IT/CS with 0-3 years programming experience. Candidate must also have experience in any one or more of the following Python, Node.js, Django framework, MySQL, handling tools for big data such as Hadoop and having exposure to all phases of software development lifecycle. Should possess excellent analytical and logical skills.
2. Junior Software Engineer (JSE): Candidate must be a B.E/B.Tech/ or M.Sc/MCA/M.Tech/ or PG Diploma in IT/CS, with a minimum of 6 month experience OR Any bachelor’s degree with minimum of 2 years of programming experience. Proven track record of 6 months-3 years of software development experience in one or more of the following: Python, Node.js, Django framework, MySQL, experience in handling tools for big data such as Hadoop and having exposure to all phases of software development lifecycle. Should possess excellent analytical and logical skills. Candidates having valid GATE score will be preferred.
3. Project Software Engineer (PSE1): Candidate must be a B.E/B.Tech/ or M.Sc/MCA/M.Tech/ or PG Diploma in IT/CS with a proven track record of 3-7 years software development experience in one or more of the following: Python, Node.js, Django framework, MySQL, experience in handling tools for big data such as Hadoop and having exposure to all phases of software development lifecycle. Should possess excellent analytical and logical skills. Candidates having valid GATE score will be preferred.
4. Sr. Project Software Engineer (SPSE): Candidate must be a B.E/B.Tech/ or M.Sc/MCA/M.Tech/ or PG Diploma in IT/CS with a proven track record of 6-10 years years software development experience in one or more of the following: Python, Node.js, Django framework, MySQL, experience in handling tools for big data such as Hadoop and having exposure to all phases of software development lifecycle.. Should possess excellent analytical and logical skills. Candidates having valid GATE score will be preferred.

Selection Procedure: Candidates will be selected based on their performance in the interview.
