Government of Punjab Notified Recruitment for 358 Medical Ofiicer Posts 2014

Directorate of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of Punjab has issued notification for recruitment of 358 Medical Officer (Specialist) Posts. The eligible candidates can attend Walk-in Interview on 22nd November 2014.

Education Qualifications :

• M.B.B.S. Degree and holding a Post Graduate degree in requisite specialty, recognized by the Medical Council of India.
• Registered with the Punjab Medical Council or with any other duly constituted Medical Council in India.

Age Limit :
Minimum Age Limit – 18 years
Maximum Age Limit – 38 years as on 01/01/2014.
Age Relaxable for SC/BC- 5years, PH –10 years & Ex.Serviceman also applicable.

Pay Scale :
Rs.15600-39100/- with Grade pay Rs.5400/-

Selection Process : The selection committee conducting Interview (100 mark).

• MBBS Qualification                – 15 marks
• Post Graduation (MD/MS)      – 60 marks
• Gold Medalist or other merit  – 05 marks
• Work Experience                   – 10 marks
• Publications                           – 10 marks

Eligible applicants should personally attend the Walk in Interview to be held on 22-11-2014 at 10:00 AM at the above said venue. Candidates are also advised to bring with them their Original Certificates, an application on prescribed Proforma, two Passport Size Photographs at the time of interview.
