CBEC Notified Recruitment for 99 Engineer & Skipper Posts 2014

Central Board of Excise and Customs (CBEC) invites interested applications for the recruitment of 99 posts of Engineer & Skipper Group’B’ officers post in the Marine Department under Central Board of Excise & Customs New Delhi on deputation or re-employment basis from the working/Ex-sailors of  Indian Navy and Central Government Offices. The eligible candidates can apply before 10 January 2015.

Eligibility Criteria :

• Educational Qualification : 
• For Engineer  (Marine) : Degree in Mechanical Engineering and Two years experience on Board a Mechanised Vessel. OR Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and Four years experience on Board a Mechanised Vessel.
• For Engineer (Electrical) : Degree in Electronics and Telecommunications or Electrical Engineering and Two years experience in Operation and Maintenance in Marine Electronic or Electrical Workshop or Merchant or Naval or Coast Guard Ship OR Diploma in Electronics and Telecommunication or Electrical Engineering. Four years experience in Operation and Maintenance in Marine Electronic or Electrical Workshop or Merchant or Naval or Coast Guard Ship.
• For Skipper : Certificate of Competency as second hand of fishing vessel issued by the Mercantile Marine Department of Govt. of India with three years sea experience on board mechanised vessel.
• Nationality : Indian
• Age Limit : As per UPSC rules.
