The Wildlife Institute of India is a premier National Institute for training and research in Wildlife Conservation and Management. The Institute is looking for bright candidates for filling up of Group-A Scientific positions 02 (two) posts of ‘Scientist-C’ and 01 (one) post of ‘Scientist-D’ post on Direct Recruitment (D.R.) basis.

Eligibility Criteria :
Educational Qualification :
(i) Scientist C: Not exceeding 31 years in case of candidates possessing Master’s degree and 34 years in case of candidates having Ph.D. degree as on 28th November 2014.
(ii) Scientist D: Not exceeding 35 years in case of candidates possessing Master’s degree and 38 years in case of candidates having Ph.D. degree as on 28th November 2014.
Relaxation in upper age limit shall be allowed in accordance with the Government of India
Application Fee : Candidates have to pay application fee in the form of Indian Postal Order/Bank Draft of a value of Rs.1000/- drawn in favor of Director, Wildlife Institute of India, Payable at Dehradun. Fee is non-refundable. No fee is payable for PWD and women candidates.

- For Scientist D : Master’s Degree in Wildlife Science/Life Science/Computer Science/Veterinary Sciences with 07 years experience in required areas OR Ph.D. in any of above fields with 04 years experience in required areas.
