South East Central Railway Notified Recruitment for 8 Posts against Scouts & Guides Quota

Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC), Headquarters Office Personnel Department, Bilaspur (Chhattisgarh) under South East Central Railway (SECR) issued notification inviting application for recruitment to 8 posts against Scouts & Guides Quota in SECR for the year 2014-2015. Interested Scouts & Guides candidates should send their applications to the concerned office so as to reach the concerned authority on or before 29 October 2014 till 1800 hours.

Vacancy Details

1. Scouts & Guides Quota vacancies: 8 posts
2. Pay Scale: Pay Band 1 of Rs.5200-20200 with Grade Pay of Rs.1800/ Rs.1900/ Rs.2000 per month

Grade Pay wise vacancy distribution

i. Grade Pay of Rs.1900/ Rs.2000: 2 posts
ii. Grade Pay of Rs.1800: 6 posts (2 posts each in Bilaspur (BSP), Raipur and Nagpur (NGP) division of SECR)

Age Limit

For Grade Pay Rs.1900/ Rs.2000:

Minimum: 18 years

Maximum: below 30 years

[Maximum age limit is relax-able by 3 years for OBC category candidates & by 5 years for SC/ ST category candidates.]

For Grade Pay Rs.1800:

Minimum: 18 years

Maximum: below 33 years

[Maximum age limit is relax-able by 3 years for OBC category candidates & by 5 years for SC/ ST category candidates.]

Educational Qualifications

For Grade Pay Rs.1900/ Rs.2000: Matriculation or equivalent OR Act Apprenticeship/ ITI as approved by SCVT/ NCVT.

For Grade Pay Rs.1800: Matriculation or 10^th pass or ITI or equivalent.

Selection Procedure: Selection of candidates will be done on the basis of candidate’s performance in the Written Test, Scouts & Guides qualifications, Personality Test/ Interview & Medical Examination.

Examination Fees: Non-refundable examination fee of Rs.100 is to be deposited in any branch of State bank of India through a fee payment challan on State Bank of India, Main Branch, Bilaspur (CG) [Branch Code: 0336] against Railway Recruitment Cell/ SECR/ Bilaspur’s a/c no. 33344526197.

How to Apply: Interested and eligible candidates should send their applications along with a passport size photo, two self-addressed, stamped envelopes and attested copies of required certificates by post or drop it in the drop box provided at the concerned office on or before 29 October 2014 till 1800 hours.
