Medical Council of India, New Delhi invites interested applications for the post of 02 Stenographer Posts & 02 Deputy Secretary (Medical) Posts in the Council office. All eligible and interested candidates can apply before 31 October 2014.

Job Details :
1. Name of Post: Deputy Secretary (Medical)

• No. of Posts: 02 (TWO)
• Pay Scale: Pay Band – 3 Rs.15600-39100 plus Grade Pay Rs.7600 and non-practicing & other allowances as admissible.
• Age Limit: Between 35 to 45 years.
• Educational Qualification: A recognised M.B.B.S. qualification or its equivalent with a recognised Postgraduate Medical degree.
• Experience: Must have 10 years experience in the profession out of which 3 years teaching experience in medical college after postgraduate medical degree.

2. Name of Post: Stenographer Grade - III

• No. of Posts: 02(TWO) [UR-1 ; OBC-1]
• Pay Scale: Pay Band – 1 Rs.5200-20200 plus Grade Pay of Rs.2400 & other allowances as admissible.
• Age Limit: Between 18 to 27 years.
• Educational Qualification: Matriculation or its equivalent. A Speed of 80 w.p.m. in shorthand (English) and a minimum speed of 40 w.p.m. in English Typing.

Age Relaxation : 

• Government servants and Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe : 5 years
• Other Backward Classes : 3 years

Selection Process : Only short listed candidates will be called for interview/test. The selection to the post of Stenographer shall be made on the basis of written examination/typing test and /or interview, as deemed fit.
