Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad invites interested applications for the 09 posts of  Senior Technical Assistant, 08 posts of Sr. Scientific Assistant, 08 posts of Technical Assistant & 07 posts of Scientific Assistant. All interested and eligible candidates can apply before 01 December 2014.

1. Name of Post: Sr. Technical Assistant

• No. of Posts: 09 [UR-4, OBC-2, SC-2, ST-1]
• Educational Qualification: Diploma in Engineering of three years duration in appropriate field/B. Sc in appropriate field with experience in handling of scientific instruments in workshop/laboratory/industry and computer applications as per requirement.
• Desirable: Knowledge of handling sophisticated laboratory instruments/execution of project work/field work relevant to different science and engineering departments.
• Experience: 8 years relevant experience with GP of Rs. 4,200/- or equivalent [For internal candidates – 8 years experience in the post of Technical Assistant]
• Pay Scale: PB:2: Rs. 9,300-34,800 + GP Rs. 4,600

2. Name of Post: Sr. Scientific Assistant

• No. of Posts: 08 [UR-4; OBC-1, SC-2, ST-1]
