Indian Air Force offers opportunities for Unmarried Male Indian Citizens from all the Districts of State of Arunachal Pradesh to become airmen. The Recruitment Test for Group ‘X’ (Technical) Trades and Group ’Y’ (Except Auto Tech, GTI, IAF (P) & Musician)) Trades will be held at Indira Gandhi Park, Itanagar, Papumpare (District), Arunachal Pradesh from 02 to 05 November 2014.

Eligible Criteria :
Educational Qualification :

• For Group ‘X’ (Technical) Trades : Passed Intermediate / 10+2 / Equivalent Examination with Mathematics, Physics and English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English. OR Passed Three year Diploma Course in Engineering (Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Automobile/ Computer Science/ Instrumentation Technology / Information Technology) from a Government recognized Polytechnic Institute with 50% marks in overall aggregate, and 50% marks in English in Diploma Course or in Intermediate/Matriculation if English is not a subject in Diploma Course.
• For Group ‘Y’ {Automobile Technician, GTI and IAF(P)} Trades : Passed Intermediate / 10+2 / Equivalent Examination in any stream/subjects approved by Central/ State Education Boards with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English. OR Passed Two year Vocational Course affiliated/recognised by CBSE / State Education Boards / Councils duly recognised at par with 10+2 by Association of Indian Universities (AIU) with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in Vocational Course or in Intermediate/Matriculation if English is not a subject in Vocational Course.
• Nationality : Indian
• Age Limit : Candidates should be born between 01 February 1995 to 30 June 1998 (both days inclusive). Upper age limit on date of enrollment is 21 years.

Method of Selection : The Recruitment Test will be conducted from 7 AM. Candidates (from respective Districts covered below) reporting up to 10 AM on 02 & 03 November 2014 at the Rally Venue will only be permitted to appear in the Recruitment Test. Written test will be objective type and question paper will be bilingual (English & Hindi) except for English.

Interview : Candidates who have passed the written test and PFT will be interviewed.
Working knowledge of English is a prerequisite.

Medical Examination : Candidates who qualify in the interview will be medically examined in the month of January 2015. Medical Examination will be conducted by Air Force Medical Team as per IAF medical standards and existing policy in vogue.

How to Apply : Candidates along with Original Educational Marks Sheets photocopies of Educational Certificates/ Marks Sheets can be permitted to appear in the Rally only on production of a certificate from College/School Principal certifying that Educational Certificates/Mark sheets are deposited with College/School.
