Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur invited applications for
recruitment to the post of Junior Project Officer/Senior Project
Officer/Programmer/Junior Research Fellow/Senior Research Fellow. The
candidates eligible for the post can apply through prescribed format
before 17 October 2014.
IIT Kharagpur is a public engineering, management and law institution established by the government of India in 1951. It was established to train scientists and engineers after India attained independence in 1947. It is known for its festivals: Spring Fest (Social and Cultural Festival), Kshitij (Techno-Management Festival) and Shaurya (sports festival).

Educational Qualifications
Candidate should have Bachelor or Master degree in Mechanical Engineering with specialization in Thermal, Applied Mechanics and Manufacturing (Other disciplines related to mechanical in Industrial Engineering, Reliability will also be considered with basic requirements of either of the above specializations) or Electronics and Communications Engineering or Electrical/Instrumentation Engineering with specialization in Instrumentation, Control systems, Embedded Systems Computer Science and Engineering /Information Technology or Civil Engineering or Chemical Engineering with specialization in chemical process dynamics Mining/Environmental Science/Mathematics and Informatics/Statistics/Electronics background may be considered for a few lab activities in Mining.
Application Fee
Candidates need to pay Demand Draft of Rs.50/- drawn in favour of IIT Kharagpur payable at Kharagpur.
